Saturday Concert at Bluebird
There has been a venue change for Saturday's Capitol Hill Summer Sale. The concert that was originally scheduled to be at Throwback's from 2 - 5 PM will now be taking place at Bluebird. DJs Swerveone and 100 Proof with a live hip-hop performance by Tanya Morgan will be heating up the Bluebird stage. You can cool it down with our ice cream and stout floats!
Groovin' on the Green
Seattle University kicks off its first annual Concert for Community and Bluebird is proud to be one of its co-sponsors. This is a community event for the community, by the community (including Bluebird, Cupcake Royale, and Seattle University). It reflects the diversity of the university as well as the surrounding community. There will be music, free food (including Bluebird ice cream!!!), and fun for all.
Come join us this Saturday, August 28, from 1 - 4 PM and enjoy this free, family-friendly, neighborhood event.

We've teamed up with our favorite Belltown coffee house, Bedlam, to
bring you a frozen twist on their best-selling coffee drink. Bedlam
Bonfire Mocha is a mocha ice cream with a hint of hot chili oil in the
finish. We figured, if you can't beat the heat, you might as well join
it, right?

Did you know Bluebird has beer on tap? We feel like we're pretty lucky
to live in a town with so many great craft microbreweries. As such,
Bluebird rotates its draft beer selection seasonally, and on a whim

Bluebird ice cream is for sale in Ballard at the new Dutch
Bike Co, right on Ballard Ave. Dutch Bike's new location has finally
opened, and with it, their Missing Link Café is open, too. Missing
Link is selling scoops, as well as cups of Bluebird ice cream to go.

Tonight's Art Walk - August 12 - $5 Art
Gerrad Stockdale, tonight's showcased artist, will be in attendance. If you bring your own shirt, bag, etc., he will press his art onto them for only $5. Due to the weather, art walk, and a large event at Throwbacks next door, open mic is cancelled. Open mic will return next week, as usual.
Blitz Art Walk - August 12
Gerrad Stockdale presents the second part of his show, "Nice Aesthetics: a contemporary re-imagining of northwest art". Stockdale will be showcasing his unique designs, which take traditional northwest native art and use recognizable forms of the contemporary urban landscape.
SPECIAL: Stockdale will be on hand, pressing custom t-shirts, bags, and more with his designs. Purchase a shirt or bring your own. He can adhere his designs to his fabric or yours.
