New Stout on Tap

Bluebird is happy to announce that we are now serving Cafe Frog Milk Stout by Rogue-Issaquah Brewhouse. This is a milk stout using coffee roasted two blocks away on Pike St. It was created by our good friend, Steve, who is the head brewer at Issaquah.
It makes a killer float!

Trivia Night!

UPDATE: Trivia Night has moved to Tuesdays at 7:30. Win cash, and of course, ice cream!

After a very successful soft-run this past Wednesday night, Bluebird is ready to offer Trivia Night to the public every Wednesday at 7:30. Come test your knowledge of useful - and not so useful - facts, while enjoying a bowl of Bluebird ice cream, a pitcher of beer, a sandwich, or afogado. Feed your stomach as well as your mind!

Limited Edition Ice Creams Available at Elysian

There's still time to get some of the special holiday ice cream we created for our friends at Elysian Brewery. BETE NOG is a boozy egg nog ice cream flavored with Elysian's Bete Noel winter ale. CHRISTMAS COOKIE is a cinnamon and brown sugar ice cream with chunks of beer-dunked fresh-baked sugar cookies, dunked in Elysian's Arboreal Chestnut Brown. YUM!

"How Do You Know" is a new film by James L. Brooks, starring Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, Paul Rudd, and Jack Nicholson. Free tickets are on the counter in the shoppe for a showing this Wednesday, December 15.

Blitz Art Walk- December 9

In addition to the artwork of painter, Lauren Olson, Bluebird is happy to welcome local artist, Strangechild. Strangechild will be taking residence upstairs for the month, and selling t-shirts of his prints.

Pike n Pine Holiday Shopping Weekend

Bluebird will be participating in this weekend's Pike n Pine Holiday Shopping Weekend. Get a free second scoop with the purchase of your first scoop when you show your holiday shopping map. Becoming a Locavore Food Drive

Bluebird will be joining Northwest Local Companies Ninkasi Brewing, Oregon Natural Meats, and THEWORLDISFUN.ORG on December 8 at the Celtic Bayou in Lynwood. The purpose of this dinner is to celebrate and promote the local treasure the Pacific Northwest has to offer. THEWORLDISFUN.ORG is also sponsoring a canned food drive that evening in order to help local charities.

Bluebird has created two special ice cream flavors especially for this dinner, using Ninkasi beers: Ninkasi Oatis Oatmeal Stout Vanilla and Ninkasi Total Domination Hop Chunk IPA. YUM!
